This is one of the most easiest and delicious recipe prepared with potato and chickpeas with flavors of mint & coriander leaves and some spices. This is another combination turned awesome that I made recently. It goes well with Paratha or Roti..

Chickpea - 2 cup
Potato - 2 medium size
Tomato - 1
Ginger - 1" piece
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Green chilli - 2
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp

Handful of fresh coriander leaves and mint leaves
Lemon juice - 1 tsp

Method :

Soak the chickpeas in water overnight or for 6 hrs.

Pressure cook the chana with a pinch of salt for 6 whistles. Drain the excess water.

Grind coconut, mint, coriander leaves, ginger, green chilli, cashew nuts with little water, make a fine paste.

Heat oil in a pan. Add all the seasoning ingredients, fry for a min. Then add green paste, cook for 5 mins.

Add cooked chana and potatoes, salt, turmeric powder and stir them slowly on medium flame, cook until the raw smell of the gravy goes off. Finally add the lemon juice and remove from heat.
